Live the life of an orange jumpsuit-clad inmate serving time for a crime you didn’t commit (maybe), or if you have the heart of a hero, you can become a guard and keep the prisoners in line. Whatever your choice… choose Prison Life!
Your aim as a prisoner is to find a way out of the complex. There are many possible escape routes – follow a complacent guard through an open door, find an access-all-areas key card, or crawl through the prison’s conveniently sized sewer system.
Once you escape prison, make your way to the warehouses on the edge of town. You can spawn cars, pick up some firepower and meet other criminals on the outside. You now have freedom… but should you use it to wreak havoc or rescue more inmates?
If you choose to play as a good guy and join the prison guards, you will begin your game in the guards’ quarters. Arm yourself with a gun or two for protection or keep an eye on inmates from the surveillance room.
Quick Tips
Bad Cop
When you play as a guard, use your laser electrocutor and handcuffs first and keep your gun holstered. If you get trigger happy and shoot innocent inmates, you will join the orange jumpsuit gang on the other side of the bars!
Hammer Time
One way out of the prison is through the sewers, but to get there you need a hammer and some time on the toilet… so you can bash it to pieces. Once the toilet is destroyed, jump into the sewers below and crawl your way to freedom.
Keycard Lotto
One way to grab a key card is to eliminate a prison guard. However, this is a risky move, as there is only a 25% chance that a key card will drop. Not to mention that the guard is fully armed and can easily take you down first.
Handy Cuffs
Guards can use handcuffs to subdue prisoners, but only if they are not heeding the schedule. So, if you are inciting a revolt, make sure you do it in an area that relates to the time of day. If it is yard time – cause chaos in the yard!
Prison Life was created by Aesthetical, back in 2014 when he was a new developer on Roblox. He never expected the game to become so popular, and in fact when the game first hit the front page, the title still had the words NOT DONE in it! Aesthetical is currently working on new games for Roblox fans, and he even interned with Roblox back in 2018.
